The Free Cuppa for the Driver scheme have launched a new website!
Using the same domain www.freecuppa.com.au the website lists of all the participating businesses, features a new frequently asked questions page, contains information about managing driver fatigue and much more.
The new website will be of tremendous value to visiting drivers and participating businesses alike. It will help to make it easier for drivers to find a participating business. The full list of the businesses participating in 2021 is now live and can be found here.
So, go ahead and see who’s participating in your area and support your local businesses that support road safety.
We have also introduced an interactive search function that lets you filter businesses based on their location, facilities and the type of coffee provided. If you are looking for participating businesses on the Newell Highway with caravan parking and barista coffee, it's now easier than ever.
The Local Road Safety Officers that administer the scheme work closely with the participating businesses to ensure that the scheme runs smoothly and that all details on the Free Cuppa website are kept up-to-date.
The scheme, which has been operating since 2010, runs from 1 March to 31 May annually and offers free cuppas to visiting drivers at participating businesses.
The Councils administer and market the scheme, while the participating businesses provide the free cuppas.
In 2021, there will be 105 businesses in 52 towns across 16 local Councils, stretching from Moree in the North, down to the Victorian border, west to Wentworth as far East as the lower Blue Mountains.
